As a science, nursing is based upon a body of knowledge that is always changing with new discoveries and innovations. When nurses blend the science and art of nursing into their practice the quality of care provided to clients is at a level of excellence that benefits clients in innumerable ways. Basic GNM. Nursing Programme is broad based education within an academic framework specifically directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competencies and standards required for practice of professional nursing.
The teachers have the responsibility to be role models and create learning environment that enables students to acquire inquiry drivel, self-directed learning and foster an attitude of lifelong learning. We in DSVSP Institute strive to achieve the excellence in nursing education and clinical practice. We also provide an arena for our student's total development by including co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The opportunities for a nurse are limitless. A professional nurse may choose any number of careers including clinical practice, education, research, management, administration and even entrepreneurship. The horizon has expanded both at home and abroad including Western, European & Middle Eastern countries
